"I'm still looking at the same three: Auburn, Ole Miss and Florida State," Carter said.
The 6-foot-4, 226-pounder says that he hasn't given a hint to any of the coaches involved with him where he is going.
"I'm telling all the schools to keep their head on a swivel," he said. "I know where I'm going, but everyone else will know on signing day."
Carter visited Auburn on the weekend of Dec. 15. He is being recruited by Tigers running backs coach Eddie Gran. He visited Ole Miss during the weekend of Jan. 12 and Florida State the following weekend.
The three-star rated prospect recently made a move into the Rivals.com Florida Top 100, making his debut at No. 68.
Carter also rates as the nation's No. 34 strongside defensive end prospect.
