His favorites – Miami and Florida State – haven’t offered yet and maybe they never will, but Julian Riley isn’t discouraged with his college search.
“I just got back from the Pittsburgh camp,” said Riley, a 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive end from St. Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood. “I have an offer from Pitt as well as Iowa State, Clemson, Wisconsin, Rutgers and LSU.”
Riley hopes that his favorite school, Miami, will eventually offer – or perhaps his second choice, Florida State.
“But if I don’t get an offer from them, I wouldn’t be disappointed,’ he said. “I really don’t have a problem with leaving Florida.
“I have about 10-12 schools that I like right now, so there should be no problem narrowing it down.”
Riley said he’s also hoping for offers from Texas, Boston College, Tulane, Nebraska, Michigan and Michigan State.
