Miami (Fla.) Bay Point defensive end Antoine Carter currently holds a verbal offer from one Southeastern Conference program and is planning on camping at a second in July.
"Recruiting has slowed down a little bit during the summer," Carter said. "A lot of schools are still writing letters. I still have the one offer from Ole Miss.
"Ole Miss is recruiting me the hardest."
The 6-foot-4, 226-pounder also plans to attend a one-day prospect camp at Auburn on July 15.
"I've been running and lifting weights," he said. "I haven't really thought about taking any unofficial visits are going to any other camps. My game is up, I just have to get stronger and faster."
Carter is a big defensive end prospect with above average speed (4.98 seconds in the 40 yard dash at the Miami NIKE Camp).
Carter had 65 tackles and 25 sacks during the 2005 season.
