Florida DE gets ACC offer
Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit two-star weakside defensive end A.J. Smith has picked up his first scholarship offer and it’s from a team in the new and improved ACC.
“I’ve picked up an offer from Georgia Tech,” Smith, who is 6-foot-6 and 225 pounds, said. “I would say my interest in them is high. I’m going to visit them on December 12.”

But the Yellow Jackets aren’t the only team that is showing interest in Smith.
“I’m going to visit South Florida on January 16, too,” he said. “Boston College and UConn are also in the picture still and remain on the list.”
