Alex Boston has added two more
official visits to his calendar and has another ready to finalize.
"I've set up visits for Maryland on Jan. 3 and Florida
State on Jan. 17," said Boston, a member of the Rivals.com
Southeast Top 100 team and the
No. 8 weakside defensive end in the nation. "I'm also close to setting one for
Florida. Coach (Dwayne) Dixon was down here at the house recently and we decided
to set one up. We just don't have the date picked yet. I should know that pretty
soon."
Boston (6-3, 225, 4.6) took his first visit on Dec. 6 to
UConn. He said he may not take all five trips.
"Right now, it's just those four teams," he said.
"There's several teams who offered me scholarships, but haven't called me in a
long time. I think they got scared that I was going to get drafted (baseball)
and take the money and run. But that's not necessarily the case. I'm definitely
thinking about college at this point."
Boston, who had approximately 65 tackles and 12 sacks as
a senior at Bartow, said he does not have a favorite at this point in his
recruitment.
