Florida DB shuffles visit dates
Three-star Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln defensive back Joe Manning has shifted a couple of dates for his final official visits.
“I moved Auburn to the 16th and Tennessee to the 23rd,” he said. “Florida State will still be the last one, on the 30th.”

Manning (6-0, 175, 4.4) visited Nebraska and Syracuse in December.
“I’ve got all five of those pretty even right now,” he said. “My first two visits went really well, so I haven’t written off either of those schools. I’m very interested in both of them, but I’m also looking forward to seeing what Auburn and Tennessee and Florida State have to offer.”
Asked what the key factors are for his commitment, Manning said: “Playing time early and a good campus life because that’s where I’m going to spend the next four years of my life. I want to feel comfortable not just with football, but with the whole campus atmosphere and the people.”
As a senior, Manning recorded 51 tackles, seven pass break-ups, five interceptions and five blocked kicks (3 punts, 2 extra points). He also had three “big hits” and one sack.
He is rated the No. 28 cornerback in the nation by Rivals.com.
