Florida DB Sails waiting on The U

Coming into the Rivals Speed & Skill Challenge presented by Under Armour Class of 2016 Gibsonton (Fla.) East Bay safety K.J. Sails already had a handful of offers. But after taking home defensive back MVP honors at the event, the 5-foot-11, 163-pound prospect picked up offers from Wake Forest and Wisconsin and he's hoping that more are on the way.
"I have a lot of schools talking to me right now," Sails said. "Miami and Florida have both told me that they like me and I've visited both places. I'm just waiting for the offers to come. I think I'm going to camp at both schools and show what I can do."

Sails remains high on the Hurricanes after a February visit and continues to keep in touch with Miami assistant Larry Scott.
"He said they really like at corner and that an offer could be coming soon," Sails said. "They said they are sort of tight right now on numbers and they only want to offer if they can take me. An offer from them would mean a lot because that's my dream school. I'm not saying that I'd commit on the spot but that's the school I grew up dreaming about playing for."
The one school to keep an eye on when it comes to Sails recruitment is nearby USF. The Bulls are Sails' hometown school and he said they remain a major factor in his recruitment.
"I love the coaching staff. They make me feel like I belong. I have a couple of friends that go there and I'm tight with them so they want me to come up there with them."
