William also has offers from Florida, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Purdue, Iowa, and Illinois. He hasn't scheduled any official visits yet.
"I'm going to wait until the end of the season to setup my visits," he said.
Any favorites?
"Right now I'm trying to stay in Florida and if I do it would be Florida or UCF," Gay said. "If I'm leaving then I want to go to Georgia."
Gay hasn't attended any college football games this season but hopes to attend Florida State's next home game. There are a few things he's going to look for when choosing a school.
"What I'm going to look for is if they're going to have my major, the facilities that they've got, and their tradition."
William is a versatile player for Rickards and plays quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and safety. He'll most likely play safety at the next level.
"Right now we kind of got off to a slow start but we're starting to pick it up. We're 2-3 but we're 2-0 in our district. I play a little receiver and I've got about five catches for like 90-something yards. I've got one rushing touchdown and one receiving touchdown. On defense I have about 25 tackles, one tackle for a loss and two interceptions."
