Florida corner has a leader

Starke (Fla.) Bradford cornerback James Jamison came away from his first official visit during the weekend with a leader.
The 5-foot-10, 161-pounder visited Central Florida during the weekend.

"Central Florida is on top right now," Jamison said. "It's a great place to go to school and the people are real nice down there."
One of those nice people was UCF secondary coach Miles Aldridge. Being the only defensive back recruit on campus this weekend, Jamison and his mother got to speak one-on-one with Aldridge.
"It was great," Jamison said. "He's a real down to Earth guy and is pretty straightforward. My mother was talking about how some coaches will tell you everything you want to hear just to get you to come, but coach Aldridge doesn't do that."
Jamison also was impressed by the Golden Knights' new on-campus football stadium that is on the horizon.
"They had pictures of it," he said. "It was real nice."
He also toured the UCF campus and remarked at the new buildings being built.
Defensive back Jason Venson was Jamison's player host.
Jamison plans to make visits to Florida International, Georgia Southern and possibly Wake Forest.
