Florida center picks up offer number six

Tramell Williams has had a good couple of weeks. This center prospect is one of the more underrated offensive prospects from the state of Florida. But what some people don't realize is that he has some talent on the other side of the ball as well. Today, he received a scholarship offer from an ACC program as a defensive tackle. That makes six for this Jacksonville Robert E. Lee High School standout.
"Maryland has offered me," Williams said. "I talked with them early this morning and they said I had an offer. They emailed me a few days ago and said they wanted to offer me as a defensive tackle. They are the first school that has offered me as a defensive tackle. UCF may as well. At this time I don't know too much about Maryland and I likely not get up there this summer, maybe take an official visit this fall."

Williams, 6-2 and 264 pounds, will head south to Orlando tomorrow to visit Central Florida. He will visit UCF through Saturday and then South Carolina and Illinois next week.
"I am going to UCF to check out everything, like their facilities. I will drive up to South Carolina for the day. Then, I will fly to Illinois and stay for two nights.
"Honestly, I will likely commit to Illinois or South Carolina at the end of the month. I will have to see what happens with South Carolina because they got A.J. (Cann). I need to see how I fit in and I definitely plan to talk with them about it."
