Florida center has three trips set

Miami Hialeah-Miami Lakes offensive linemen Mike Alvarez is taking his first official visit this weekend and it's to a school that you might not imagine.
"I'm going to FAU this weekend," Alvarez, who is ranked as the No. 7 offensive center in the nation, said.

"People are asking me why I'm going to check them out, but I want to go up there and see what they have to offer. It's close to home and my family could see me play too. It's also my birthday and it's going to be fun to be on a visit and enjoy myself."
It's likely just the first trip in quite a few.
He's set to visit Boston College on January 10 and Colorado State on January 17. Auburn is likely to get the fourth visit with the fifth trip up in the air between several teams like Nebraska, Navy and maybe N.C. State.
“Doc Holiday is coming up to the school tomorrow,” Alvarez said. “I think they’re probably most interested in Brandon Jones, but we’ll see what they say about interest in me. I’m having Colorado State come by on December 9. Coach Rogers said it’s all going to start picking up for me this time of year.”
Alvarez, who is 6-foot-2 and 295 pounds, is not leaning one way or the other and is going to let the decisions help him make a decision.
