Florida CB ready for visits

Miami Killian defensive back Miguel Scott saw his season end with an 11-1 record and a loss in the first round of the Florida state playoffs. But now that his season is over, he's totally focused on the recruiting process.
"I take my first trip this weekend," Scott, who is 6-foot-1, 180 pounds and ranked as a three-star cornerback, said. "I'm going to N.C. State. I'm really looking forward to it. Two of my friends are up there, including Pat Thomas. So I can't wait to see what it's like."

Scott said he's not leaning toward N.C. State, but he's definitely impressed with what the Pack has to offer.
"It's a good school and they play good football up there," he said.
After he trips to N.C. State, Scott is expected to visit Rutgers on December 13, Ohio State on January 10 and Florida on January 17. Boston College is now also in the running for the fifth visit.
He has offers from all of the teams, except Ohio State.
"Rutgers has already been by my house," he said. "I really enjoyed hearing from them. I'm going to hear them all out and see how the visits go before I make any decision."
