Florida CB on the rise

Cornerback Jamire Williams started with one offer from UConn but has not added to his stack with two more in the past couple of days. Don't look for the trend to stop there as the Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast prospect has been rising fast.
The 6-foot, 180-pounder has added offers from South Florida and Ball State joining the Huskies. Williams' busy summer schedule could earn him even more.

"That's good man," Williams said about the offers. "UConn is one of my top schools though along with Florida. I'm just not getting anything from the Gators yet. UConn, I checked them out on the Internet and their academics are really good. It's just a good school.
"I'd like to hear from Florida – I've liked them since I was little."
Williams went to Gainesville for a camp when he was entering his freshman year of high school. Ever since then, he's been high on the in-state program. He'll take in several other team camps this summer though to earn more interest.
"I'm going to UConn, UCF, South Florida, Auburn, and Clemson," he said. "Those are for sure ones I'll go to. I'm not going to rush anything though.
"I want to take some trips first and see how that goes."
