Florida CB nearing a decision
Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln cornerback Terry Thompson took his second official visit this past weekend. Now, he is trying to determine whether to take a third trip or pick between the two schools he has seen in person.
"I visited Southern Miss this past weekend," the 5-foot-10, 165-pound Thompson said. "Everything on the visit went great. I loved it.

"I spent time with the players and with the coaches. Everything about the trip was really nice."
Thompson's first visit was last weekend to Kansas State.
"Right now, I would say that my trip to Southern Miss has them ahead of Kansas State. I haven't made my decision, but I am leaning toward Southern Miss at this point. They are closer to home, too."
Thompson is trying to decide whether to visit a third school this weekend or not.
"South Carolina had talked about having me down this weekend," he said. "I don't have that set right now, but I may check and see. If not, I will probably go ahead and commit to Southern Miss."
