Florida CB favors five

Terrence Brooks is a cornerback prospect from Dunnellon High School in Florida. Brooks, 5-10 and 165 pounds, now has a dozen scholarship offers with his latest being from USF.
"USF was my last one after (their) camp," Brooks said. "It's close to home and they are a team on the rise. USF has been ranked high a few times and they need secondary help. I like coach (Jim) Leavitt and the staff. They always seen up and I like their energy."

Despite the offer from the Bulls, Brooks favors five other teams at this time.
"Really, all the schools are still in the mix. But if I had to say five it would be Miami, Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss and UCF. They standout with me right now and they have all offered."
Brooks, who says he will play cornerback, free safety, wide receiver, running back, quarterback and return punts and kicks, says he may be close to lining up some official visits.
"I haven't had a chance yet to set up any official visits but I will very soon. I just need to get with my coach. Right now I am just focused on having a big senior season. I have been working harder than ever."
Brooks has spent the summer participating at team 7-on-7 and he had camped at both USF and Florida. Later this month he will camp at Seminole Showtime and Friday Night Lights.
