Florida back back on track

Melbourne, Fla., running back Mike Hamilton Jr. was waiting for a game like last Friday night. After struggling to a 0-4 start, his coaches made a change from the I-formation to the wing-T and started feeding him the ball a lot more. The end result was a victory and more than 315-yards rushing for Hamilton.
“We’re turning it around,” Hamilton, a two-star prospect that is 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, said. “It felt good to get that first win and get things back on track. We had about 600 yards of total offense.”

Hamilton said he needed a game like that to impress the college coaches. With offers on the table from Tennessee and West Virginia, Hamilton said coaches from Florida State, South Florida, Miami, Florida and Southern Miss have also been calling. They are telling him they wanted to evaluate senior film before offering.
“I’ve been going to a lot of games,” Hamilton said. “And I’ve been talking to a lot of the coaches. I’m still very open to anybody, and I don’t have any leaders.”
Hamilton will be on hand this weekend as the Noles host the Canes.
