Fort Meade, Fla. wide receiver Jermalle Cornelius wants to go to a school that throws the ball – a lot.
“I really like the way Florida throws the ball,” said the 6-foot, 170-pound wideout with 4.4-second speed in the 40-yard dash. “They always seem to put up huge numbers in the passing game.”
Cornelius favors the Gators over Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Auburn, Georgia and South Carolina. He has offers from all of them.
“Notre Dame doesn’t throw a lot, but they’re recruiting me hard,” he said. “Virginia Tech as a good offense and playing in the SEC at Auburn, Georgia or South Carolina would be cool too. I’ll need to take some official visits to sort it all out.”
Cornelius has already visited all of his favorites unofficially except for Virginia Tech. He won’t make a decision until February.
