Florida ATH picking up interest

Boynton Beach, Fla., athlete Cori Denson continues to receive interest from schools as more and more film heads out his door.
“Cori had a rough season this year,” Denson’s mother said. “He got recovered from a foot injury after the first two games of the year and finally got to play. Then we had some games that were moved because of the hurricanes here in Florida. The season is over now, and we are turning our attention to helping Cori find a school to continue his career.”

The list of schools expressing some interest in the 6-foot-2, 185-pound projected safety includes Mississippi State, Tennessee, Kansas State, Purdue, Boston College, Vanderbilt and Maryland.
“He doesn’t have any scholarship offers yet,” she said. “He is trying to get tape out to all of the schools he can that request it so they can evaluate it and proceed. He has not set up any official visits yet, either.
“There is tape going out all the time. The last one we mailed out was to Kansas State early this week.”
