Florida ATH makes pledge

St. Petersburg (Fla.) Boca Ciega two-star athlete Joshua Bellamy was slated to take an official visit to Western Michigan this weekend. But he never made that trip.
"I committed to South Florida on Thursday," Bellamy, who is 6-foot and 181 pounds, said.

"It's right there. It's close to home. They're a good program that's on its way up."
Bellamy said he actually committed Thursday night while he was hosting South Florida coaches Greg Frey and head coach Jim Leavitt.
"Both coaches were really excited," Bellamy said. "They know how important it is to keep the South Florida guys at home. I'm excited about my decision."
Bellamy will take his official visit to USF on Jan. 26. He will not take any other official visits because of his decision.
