Florida ATH high on Bulls

Three-star Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland athlete Vince Wilson has an official visit coming this weekend that could possibly lead to his commitment.
“I’m still open-minded between two or three schools right now, but I’m going to visit South Florida this weekend,” he said. “Right now, they really have my attention. I like what they have to offer. It’s close to home. It’s a good program that’s getting better every year. They’re going to be in the Big East soon, so that’s some better competition and exposure.”

Wilson (5-10, 180, 4.4) is also considering Wake Forest and Iowa State, although it’s unlikely he’ll get to visit. He says he got his test score late in the process and didn’t leave time to make those official visits.
“I got a 16 now on my ACT, so I’m supposed to be OK if I can keep my grades up,” he said.
As a senior, he rushed for 2,030 yards and 25 touchdowns. He's rated the No. 46 athlete in the nation by Rivals.com.
