Fletcher solid to Stanford
Rumors have been swirling that Long Island (N.Y.) St. Anthony's offensive center Alex Fletcher is re-thinking his commitment to Stanford. Is it true?
"No," said the 6-foot-4, 275-pounder who was a standout for the East squad at the U.S. Army All American Bowl. "I just took my official visit to Stanford this past weekend and everything went great. I am 100-percent sure I'm headed to Stanford, nothing could change my mind now."

Fletcher, ranked as the No. 3 center in the country by Rivals.com, had been linked with schools like Boston College, USC and others.
"I can tell you right now I'm off to Stanford," he said. "The education you get there is Ivy caliber and the program is top-notch. I'm happy with my decision."
