Fleming pulls the trigger

Akron (Ohio) Hoban three-star safety Will Fleming said it would always be tough to turn down his father's offer to play for him at Akron.
And after looking around at other schools and getting interest from Big Ten programs, he lived up to his prediction.

"I am officially committed to the Akron Zips," Fleming, who is the No. 44 player in Ohio, said. "I committed today. My dad was really excited about the news."
Fleming's father is Jim Fleming, Akron's defensive coordinator.
Fleming was also recruited heavily by Iowa, Michigan State, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Hawaii, Miami and Boise State. He took visits to Boise State and Akron before deciding on the Zips.
As a senior, Fleming earned all-area honors.
