COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The stock is certainly rising for Arlington (Texas) Seguin cornerback Jamell Fleming. After his first scholarship offer from Baylor, two more from out-of-state are part of the mix.
UCLA and Wisconsin joined the offer club over the past few weeks. The 5-foot-10, 181-pounder talked about the offers after his NIKE Training Camp performance this past Saturday, which should usher in even more.
"My sister lives out in (California) and I don't know, I've always wanted to go out there," Fleming said. "I just like California."
Fleming is being recruited by Dino Babers. His recruiting coach from Wisconsin, Kerry Cooks, has been also in contact with Fleming through text messages.
"That offer came a while back," Fleming said about the Badgers. "I got a message from coach Cooks and it came."
Fleming says several schools will be stopping by the school this week and next for spring practice.
"UCLA is coming to see me and Texas A&M is going to come down," Fleming said. "Oklahoma of course also said they were coming down. I've been hearing from them a lot too."
