Flanders adds two new offers

Midwest City, Okla., cornerback John Flanders has added two new scholarship offers with his senior season on the horizon.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound three-star prospect picked up his first two from Kansas State and Tulsa, but says that New Mexico and Rice have now added their offers to the mix.

"It's good, kind of surprising," Flanders said about the two new offers. "I didn't really know a lot about those two schools."
Flanders, the No. 10 rated prospect in the state of Oklahoma, says that this summer has been relatively quiet. Aside from attending a camp at Arkansas, he hasn't been out on the road much.
As for visits coming up, Flanders mentioned that he has no plans as of now. He does have some ideas for official visits.
"I'm trying to take on to Arkansas, and then probably go to New Mexico, Missouri, and OSU too," Flanders said. "I'm going to be looking at the programs, the education, and the people that I'll be friends with when I'm there."
The biggest thing on Flanders mind right now is the start of his senior season.
"I'm looking forward to a great year," he said. "Hopefully we can get pass that first round of the playoffs and go all the way."
Flanders says he looks to decide after his football season has come to a close.
