One of the top-ranked players in the country has more than 25 offers already. And while college recruiters are doing all they can to get his attention, Brian Toal from Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco is not letting too much information out when it comes to recruiting.
"I like a lot of schools right now, but I don't have a top school. A few stand out like Boston College, Miami, Michigan, Penn State and Virginia, but I really don't have a leader and nothing is really definite."
All of those schools have offered Toal and Brian is already beginning to get confused.
"This isn't easy," said the 6-foot-2, 228-pound linebacker. "I really appreciate all the schools that have offered me, but it's going to take some time before I can narrow things down."
Arguably the top player in New Jersey is being recruited as a linebacker by almost all of the schools that have shown him interest and that's fine with him.
"I'm sure I'll be playing linebacker in college and that's where I want to play."
Toal, whose brother Greg is a senior fullback at Boston College, recently ran a 10.8-second 100-meters in track, one of the top times this year in the state of New Jersey.
