Five-Star WR Makes Choice

Just a day after getting a verbal commitment from running back Thomas "Hollywood" Clayton, Florida State picked up another bigtime prospect.
"It's always been a dream to wear that uniform and play for that team," said 6-foot, 170-pound wide receiver Dishon Platt about his commitment to Florida State. "There's no better program in the country."

Platt had offers from nearly every team in the country, but narrowed his choices to FSU and South Florida.
"I felt so comfortable at South Florida," said the Punta Gorda (Fla.) Charlotte star. "But when it came down to playing for a national championship or playing on a team that just went D1, I just had to choose the 'Noles."
Platt is rated just behind Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips wideout Ryan Moore. He's one of the top 25 players in the country.
