Five star Thomas Herring visits Michigan

Five star offensive tackle Thomas Herring (6-6, 292, 4.8) from Los Angeles (Calif.) Fremont is on his way back from his first official visit to Michigan. “Thomas came home after his game with Dorsey and he was gone an hour later,” Herring’s Mom said. “They whooped Dorsey 42-19.”
“Thomas was very excited about his visit,” Herring’s Mom said. “They showed him everything about the place.”

“Michigan was his first visit,” Herring’s Mom said. “Thomas is supposed to take some more.”
Herring is a member of the Rivals.com Rivals 100 team and is rated as the nation’s number 18 best prospect at any position.
Rivals.com also rates him as the nation’s number one offensive tackle prospect, Rivals.com ranks him as the state of California’s number two prospect at any position and Herring is a member of Rival.com’s Super West 60 where he is rated as the entire Western Region’s number two prospect.
According to Herring’s mom Michigan did a very good job recruiting him this weekend. This news should make Wolverine fans from coat-to-coast smile.
Rivals.com will do another update on Herring as soon as we can. He was on his way back home from Michigan when we called.
