Five-star TE Thomas enjoys FSU

Lynchburg (Va.) Brookville tight end Logan Thomas is one of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in the nation and he took a trip to Tallahassee over the weekend.
It was only an unofficial visit for Thomas, but he stayed in town until Sunday and got a chance to see what the football program and school has to offer.

"I had a really good time" Thomas said. "It was really good visit. We came down right before the game (Saturday) and talked to Coach Bowden before going to the game. Afterward I went to the locker room and met with some of the other coaches.
"We stayed the night here (Saturday) and woke up early in the morning to go back to the school. We got a tour of the campus and the academic buildings. It was a really good visit. I was really surprised with a lot of stuff and everything I learned was good. It was great to see all they have to offer."
Thomas has been trying to narrow his list for a few months now. That has been a difficult process, as he holds offers from just about every major program in the nation.
While he will almost surely take other visits before making his decision, right now he is taking everything in stride and avoiding any pressure to push things too quickly.
"I'm not sure if I'll take other visits any time soon," he explained. "I'll probably go somewhere here in the next few weeks. I'm going to go home and evaluate everything and see just how much I liked everything. It's all kind of up in the air at this point."
The 6-foot-6, 233-pound member of the Rivals100 has had a big senior season for Brookville. On the year he has passed for 800 yards with 11 touchdowns and rushed for 700 yards and seven scores.
