Five-star talks Oklahoma visit

Keisean Lucier-South took his first official visit to Oklahoma this past weekend and the five-star outside linebacker was definitely impressed.
The Orange (Calif.) Lutheran standout is not naming any favorites but Lucier-South said he was pleasantly surprised by how much he liked the school, the coaching staff, the players and how much people care about the Oklahoma football team there.

"When I got there I took a tour around the campus, met the coaches, met the players and then I watched the game," Lucier-South said. "After that I hung out with my host and it was cool.
"On Sunday, I went to the facility, I went to the weight room, I went to the nutrition place, I put on a jersey, I took a tour around the stadium with no people in it and all the recruits on the visit went to Bob Stoops' house. His house is huge."
Lucier-South, rated as the third-best outside linebacker and the No. 30 prospect in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, hit it off with Stoops and the rest of the coaches. Oklahoma is a lot different than Southern California - and Lucier-South seemed to enjoy it.
"He was a great guy," Lucier-South said of Stoops. "He was honest, fun to be with and the players really love him. You can do your own thing but when it's game time he wants everybody to be a team. I really like how he's doing things over there.
"I was surprised by everything. It's not like California. It's totally different. The town is small so they all care about football. It's not like L.A. or Orange County. It's just that town and they care about the football team. It's a great environment and I really liked it."
The five-star linebacker still has visits scheduled with Michigan, UCLA, Florida and Oregon. He has called Michigan his dream school and UCLA has recruited him the heaviest for the longest time but Lucier-South said Oklahoma is definitely under serious consideration now.
"From that visit, I was really surprised with Oklahoma and I really like them," Lucier-South said. "I just love how they work the team. I love the program. The players said the coaches are all for the players and they care about the players first and it's just like a big family.
"The whole town cares about the football team. I really like that. Oklahoma is doing great right now. I'm not going to say who my leader is but they're improving and they're doing a great job."
