Five-star takes two visits, plenty more coming

A busy summer is ahead for Rivals100 wide receiver Deion Walker. The Christchurch (Va.) Christchurch School prospect is planning to stop through at least a dozen schools in the next month or so. Where is the 6-foot-4, 186-pounder going?
"I actually haven't started taking many visits yet, but I am going on quite a few," he stated. "Recently I visited my grandmother and stopped by Maryland and then visited a friend in Winston-Salem and checked out Wake Forest.

"I didn't stay very long at Wake, but I liked it. I met with the wide receivers coach and he was a pretty cool guy. Then I visited Maryland and met with Darrius Heyward-Bey. I talked to him for a bit and he's a real cool guy and probably one of the best returning receivers in the ACC. I definitely had a really good time there. The visit to Maryland did surprise me. I didn't expect to be there that long and meeting the players helped me to know what I should look for."
In mid-July, Walker will head west.
"I'm going to go to LSU, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Colorado, Southern Cal and California," he said. "I'll probably end up staying a week in Los Angeles since I used to live there when I was younger. Now that I'm older I can go and see what life in L.A. is all about.
"I'm also looking forward to the visits to California, LSU and Texas."
Before that trip though, the five-star prospect plans to make a few more stops on the East Coast.
"I'm also looking at going to Virginia, Virginia Tech, Penn State, North Carolina and North Carolina State for unofficial visits."
