Five-Star RB Has Good Trip

Newport News (Va.) Heritage running back Michael Johnson expected it to be a lot colder on his official visit to Michigan State this weekend.
“It wasn’t cold at all,” said Johnson, reached on his cell phone at the airport ready to return home. “I had a good time, it was really cool here.”

Johnson, a 5-foot-10, 180-pounder with blazing speed, enjoyed a lot of things about Michigan State.
“I liked the atmosphere and the coaches there,” he said. “They’ll be one of my finalists even though they lost the game and all. I don’t think it’s too far from home and they treated me good.”
Johnson will visit Miami on December 7th and Virginia on January 18th. He expects to take trips to Florida State, Florida or Tennessee as well. Johnson’s season is over but indoor track begins for him shortly. He still doesn’t name a leader.
