Five-star RB cuts list

Five-star running back prospect Marcus Lattimore could name his school. This prized recruit from Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes High School, has been offered scholarships from teams coast to coast. A few moments ago he narrowed his school list to eight teams.
"I have broke it down to eight schools," Lattimore said. "I do not have a leader and this is my official list - North Carolina, Alabama, South Carolina, Clemson, Penn State, Florida State, Maryland and Auburn."

A surprise team not on his elite eight is the University of Georgia. The Dawgs were one of his top school choices until recently. So what happened with the Dawgs?
"When I went down there (Athens) I just didn't feel comfortable and couldn't see myself living there for four years."
This past weekend Lattimore made another unofficial visit to Auburn, for the Big Cat Weekend. He had a great trip once again with the Tigers.
"Man, I had a blast. I mean it was great. The best part was just hanging out with all the players like Kodi Burns and Antonio Coleman."
Lattimore is the No. 2 rated running back prospect in the country and the No. 4 overall player in the Rivals100. Last season he rushed for over 2,500 yards and 30 touchdowns.
During the month of June, Lattimore says he will make unofficial visits to Florida State, Penn State, North Carolina and South Carolina.
