Five-star raves about Tennessee

Kahlil McKenzie had such a fantastic visit to Tennessee last weekend he honestly did not want to leave Knoxville.
That is fantastic news for the Vols since McKenzie is a five-star prospect and the top-rated defensive tackle in the 2015 class by Rivals.com.

McKenzie, a 6-foot-4, 340-pound prospect, did not play a single down in his senior season at Concord (Calif.) Clayton Valley Charter because of transfer rules but he dominated at the Army All-American Bowl and moved up even higher in the latest round of rankings.
The five-star said he really didn't want to leave Knoxville once his visit ended.
"It was a lot of fun," McKenzie said. "I didn't think I could fall in love with the school more but it was awesome. I loved it.
"I was really able to see the campus, spend some time with the coaches and be around all the guys. Every time I'm there it's a really good time and I enjoy myself so much."
McKenzie had offers from basically every program in the country but picked Tennessee in July and has stuck with the Volunteers. He has family ties to Knoxville and the football program and has made it no secret he has been completely firm in his commitment even since he made it.
This past weekend's visit definitely sold him even more.
"I'm so excited," McKenzie said. "I didn't want to leave. I was telling guys I was going to hide in the airport and then come back, catch a ride or get a taxi. It was a lot of fun up there and it was tough to leave. I can't wait to get back out there."
Rivals.com rates McKenzie as the No. 1 defensive tackle and sixth in the overall rankings. He is third in the California state rankings.
