Five-star OT sticking with USC

Ever since five-star Power Springs (Ga.) McEachern offensive tackle Chuma Edoga committed to USC back in the spring, Georgia fans have held out hope that he would give another look to the nearby 'Dawgs. This past weekend Georgia finally got the nation's No. 21 overall player back on campus, as he officially visited for the school's victory over Auburn.

Despite optimism among the Georgia faithful, Edoga made it clear that despite a good visit, he's staying loyal to the Trojans.
"I'm not going there," Edoga said via text message. "I'm going to USC, not to Georgia."
The definitive statement was all Edoga offered on Monday, but with a plan to enroll early at USC and his team in the middle of the playoffs, Edoga is focused on the remainder of his senior season.
When he committed to USC, Edoga was clear that he planned on taking other visits, but so far he has stuck to his word that he wouldn't waver from his commitment.
"This wasn't a hasty decision,"Edoga told Rivals.com in April. "People have no idea what they're talking about when they say I'm just going to de-commit."
Edoga and McEachern play at Alpharetta (Ga.) in the second round of the playoffs on Friday night.
