Five-Star makes the call

It was a long road for five-star Owamagbe Odighizuwa (6-3, 234) from Portland (Ore.) Douglas but it has come to an end.
"I'm committing to continue my education and play my college football at the University of California at Los Angeles," Odighizuwa said in front of a packed house and on ESPN. "I think the UCLA program is on the rise.
Landing Odighizuwa is huge for UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel and his program. It was tough recruiting battle that the Bruins won over Nebraska and Oregon State.

In Odighizuwa the Bruins get the signature of their first five-star prospect in some time.
Odighizuwa proved his five-star status as a senior when had to fight through double teams, while the opposition chose to run away from him, and still he racked up 90 tackles and 10 sacks.
Odighizuwa made the Rivals.com Rivals100 for the class of 2010. Rivals.com ranks him as the nation's No. 20 prospect at any position. He was also selected to the Rivals.com Oregon Midseason Top 10 team landing as the Beaver State's No. 1 prospect at any position.
