Five Star LB Takes First Trip
Woodbridge (Va.) C.D. Hylton linebacker Ahmad Brooks enjoyed his trip to Virginia Tech this weekend.
"It was cool there," said the 6-foot-3, 230-pounder. "I roomed with Jimmy Williams and got along really well with the players and coaches."

However, Brooks did not commit.
"I'm going to take all four of my visits," he said. "I'm going to Florida State on Jan. 11, Virginia on Jan. 18 and Tennessee on Jan. 25."
So are the Hokies in the running?
"Of course," he said. "They're right up there. They have an awesome defense, a close group of guys and I liked it there alot. I don't have a leader, but Virginia Tech will be part of my final four."
