Five-Star LB Stopped Counting Offers

Brandywine (Md.) Gwynn Park linebacker Wesley Jefferson stopped counting his offers after a certain number of them came in.
“I think it was after 40 when I stopped counting,” said the 6-foot-2, 230-pound inside ‘backer. “It became too crazy.”

Despite the influx of offers, Jefferson does have a pretty solid top five.
“Ohio State, Maryland, Penn State, Virginia and Notre Dame are the teams I like the best right now,” he said. “But that’s not set in stone yet.”
Jefferson, who made 113 solo tackles as a junior, will camp at Maryland and Michigan State this summer and plans on taking a trip down south to see some more schools. He’s already visited Virginia, Penn State and Michigan State as well as Maryland.
“I’ll need my official visits to sort things out,” he said. “But I’m not sure what schools I’ll visit yet. Since I’ve seen some places, I could use them for some other schools I’ve never seen. I’ll know sometime during my season.”
