Five-star LB Mekhail Sherman down to Georgia & Ohio State
Five-star linebacker Mekhail Sherman finished up back-to-back official visits to Georgia and Ohio State over the last two weekends and had a few more visits already planned. Now the Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High star has canceled his official visits to LSU, Florida, and Texas. While Sherman has no immediate plans to announce a commitment, it can't be far off in the distance.
RIVALS' REACTION...
Both Georgia and Ohio State have been trending for Sherman for a while. The Dawgs made a strong impression during his very first visit to campus last spring and haven't taken their foot on the gas. They've been the perceived leader for Sherman's commitment but Ohio State has been threatening that title for a few months. Was Sherman's official visit to Ohio State last weekend enough to swing him their way? Sherman could answer that question soon enough but, for now, my FutureCast is with Georgia.
