Five-star impressed with LSU

Five-star defensive end CeCe Jefferson of Jacksonville (Florida) Baker County was at LSU on an unofficial visit this weekend for the Alabama game, and the Tigers made an impression.

"It was wonderful," Jefferson's father, Leo Jefferson said. "It was a great game. We've visited before and know the coaches very well. We were just there for the football game and the atmosphere and the whole experience. It was nice to be there on game day."
Though the visit was not official, he was at Ole Miss and Alabama in October on official visits.
Though the Jeffersons got another look at the Crimson Tide, Leo said there was no contact made with the Tide coaches while they were in Baton Rogue.
"When we visit a school we're only there for that one school," Leo said. "We don't want to disrespect the school."
It's unclear if Jefferson has a leader at this point, but the Tigers are in the mix.
"They're up there," Leo said. "I'd say they're pretty high toward the top."
Leo said CeCe will make his decision on National Signing Day.
