Five-Star DB Returns From Trip
Jacksonville (Fla.) Suncoast superstar Devin Hester liked his trip to NC State this weekend for one good reason.
“I can play early there,” said the 5-foot-11, 185-pounder. “They said they need speed at wide receiver and that’s the position I want to play. They also play a lot of freshmen and I want to play next season.”

Hester will have the Wolfpack near the top of his list but will take the rest of his visits before deciding. He goes to Purdue on Nov. 30 and then off to Virginia (Dec. 7), Miami (Jan. 11) and Florida State (Jan. 18).
“It’s hard to compare because I haven’t taken other officials,” he said. “But the atmosphere and early playing time at NC State are cool.”
