Five-Star Challenge: Top LBs

Davis has ideal size (6-3, 234) and length to play linebacker at the next level. He played very well in space and could play inside or outside linebacker in college. It was good to see his awareness and reaction time during the seven-on-seven tournament. Davis was very physical in the middle of the field and it was rare to see a pass completed in his area.

LB
Nate McBride (2017)
Vidalia, Ga.
The only underclassman to make this list, McBride will be making waves for the next few years. He has elite athleticism and is a track star in the offseason. McBride was caught a little bit off guard early in the day but he quickly adjusted and started making plays. He was especially impressive during the 7-on-7 tournament. There weren't many players that could gain separation against McBride.

LB
Michael Divinity
Marrero (La.) John Ehret
Divinity excels in the camp environment and he did not disappoint. He won almost all of his reps during one-on-ones and the ball wasn't thrown to him much in the 7-on-7 tournament. Divinity has a great frame (6-2, 210) and there is lots of room for him to fill out. Look for him to add muscle and good weight so can be more physical.
5
DT
Devin Bush
Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Flanagan
Bush is an elite inside linebacker with great instincts and an excellent sense of timing. He did very well in one-on-ones, coming up with multiple interceptions and pass break-ups. Bush showed impressive range in space and he was able to alter many throws over the middle.
6
LB
Daelin Hayes
Ann Arbor (Mich.) Skyline
Hayes was one of the bigger outside linebackers in Baltimore (6-3, 250), but also one of the smartest. The USC commit can cover a lot of ground but if he knew the running back or tight end was going to get some separation, he made sure to be physical and slow them down. The athleticism Hayes showed when breaking up passes during one-on-ones was a bit of a surprise.

LB
Caleb Kelly
Fresno (Calif.) Clovis West
Kelly was probably the most athletic linebacker in Baltimore. He is so explosive and changes directions very well for a player of his size. Kelly was able to make some leaping pass break-ups that nobody thought he was going to get. It is also pretty incredible how much room he has left to fill out in his frame (6-3, 215). Once he gets to a college weight room he will be an even scarier every-down linebacker.

LB
Jaquan Yulee
Chesapeake (Va.) Indian River
Inside linebackers a placed at a severe disadvantage in the camp setting, but Yulee had a lot of success. During one-one-ones, the recent Alabama commit was very physical with running backs and tight ends and made sure they did not get much separation. Yulee's length made it very difficult for quarterbacks to get the ball to their receivers. During the seven-on-seven tournament Yulee always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. He should have had two interceptions, but he dropped both of them.
