Five-Star Challenge: Must-see interviews

The new king of the Rivals100 doesn't do many interviews but there are a number of schools in play for him. Clemson, North Carolina and Florida State are thought to be some of Lawrence's top schools and all three have great traditions on the defensive line. Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia and a few others have also gotten some attention from Lawrence. The big questions in Lawrence's recruitment are which schools will he visit this off-season and when will he get out on the road?

RB
Miles Sanders
Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills
Sanders has been committed to Penn State for about 11 months but that almost came to an end a few weeks ago. This all came about when Sanders decided he wanted to take some visits to other schools. For now it seems like Sanders will remain committed to Penn State but will he take some visits? Where will he visit? Sanders will likely return to Pittsburgh at some point but what about Michigan, Alabama and others?

DT
Derrick Brown
Sugar Hill (Ga.) Lanier
Brown isn't the type to do many interviews so when he speaks it is always important to hear what he has to say. Most people believe he is leaning toward Georgia but Alabama is also very much in the mix. Brown did visit Auburn over the weekend and the Tigers received good reviews. Did the commitment from Julian Rochester affect Brown's recruitment?

WR
Nate Craig-Myers
Tampa (Fla.) Tampa Catholic
Craig-Myers has been making waves since he has fully recovered from a leg injury. He decommitted from Auburn in early May but the Tigers are still very much in the race. Florida State has emerged as a major contender and possibly the favorite. Don't count out the Florida Gators either. They have been recruiting Craig-Myers very hard. There are other schools interested but when will he name a short list and where is he going to visit next?

LB
Jaquan Yulee
Chesapeake (Va.) Indian River
Yulee was scheduled to visit Alabama last weekend and announce a commitment on Thursday, but all of that fell through. What happened? He has a top five of Alabama, Florida State, Michigan State, North Carolina and Virginia Tech, and has rescheduled his commitment for June 8. Alabama was viewed as the favorite but we will find out whether that has changed and if another team is in the driver's seat.

RB
Kareem Walker
Wayne (N.J.) De Paul Catholic
In a surprise move, Walker announced his commitment to Ohio State during halftime of the national championship game but since then he has taken multiple visits to Rutgers and was at Auburn and Alabama this past week. There are lots of rumors that Walker's commitment is wavering but there are also people that say he is just taking visits to make sure he made the right choice. Taking unofficial visits to schools far from home should get the attention of the Buckeyes but we will find out the current state of Walker's commitment on Friday.

DB
CJ Pollard
Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra
Serra has a very strong connection to USC and is seems like the Trojans are in great shape with Pollard. Since they offered, Michigan and Oregon have been all over Pollard and visits to both are very likely. Notre Dame is also a major contender and it seems like Pollard will almost certainly visit South Bend. If Pollard has set any of these visits or has an idea of when he will commit we will find out.

DT
Rashan Gary
Paramus (N.J.) Paramus Catholic
Many people think Michigan is the favorite for Gary because his former high school coach is on the staff in Ann Arbor but there are a lot of schools in play. Penn State, Ohio State, Rutgers, Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State and some others will have a lot to say in Gary's recruitment before all is said and done. On Friday expect Gary to preview next week's SEC road trip to Ole Miss, Alabama and Auburn.

DB
Lamar Jackson
Elk Grove (Calif.) Franklin
The two teams in Los Angeles, UCLA and USC, are battling it out for Jackson. He has really taken a liking to both and it will be tough for any team to get Jackson out of SoCal. Notre Dame, Oregon and Alabama are very involved in Jackson's recruitment as well. Finding out if Jackson will or has already set up visits to any school will be an important question on Friday.
