Rasheem Green is taking an official visit to Oregon for many reasons.
The five-star defensive lineman from Gardena (Calif.) Serra booked his trip for the Washington game and said he wants to hang around more of the players, talk more with the coaches and he's definitely looking forward to seeing a game in Autzen Stadium.
Green already took an unofficial visit to Oregon this off-season and soon he will be back.
"I'm going so I can meet the players some more and I can get a better feel for the campus," Green said.
"I'm pretty excited to go see a game. Seeing it on TV and I heard from some people about the experience up there. It seems like something you have to see for yourself and I would love to see it."
As for other official visits, Green still has not booked two others that have been planned but the five-star standout still definitely wants to take another Pac-12 trip and one to an ACC school.
"I still haven't planned my Stanford trip and I haven't planned my trip to Miami yet," Green said. "I'm still trying to get those dates finalized."
Those three trips are almost certain to happen and Green, rated as the third-best strong-side defensive end and the No. 19 prospect in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, is still thinking about his other two visits.
One part of Green is considering visits to USC and UCLA and another is thinking he should take his trips out of state to see if something really appeals to him. He has considered trips to Alabama and Oklahoma but nothing has been settled yet.
"I'm still kind of torn whether I should stay here (and do USC and UCLA trips) or if I should take them on the East Coast," Green said.
