Five schools still remain for Arnett

Recent rumor and speculation has tried to pin down where Saginaw (Mich.) four-star wide receiver DeAnthony Arnett is headed, but the 6-0, 170-pound receiver has not decided on a college destination at this stage and still has five schools on his list.
Official visits to Cal and USC were taken in the month of October, with one more visit possible before a decision is rendered. Arnett said recently he expects his final decision to be made this month.

Arnett returned from an official visit to USC this past weekend, saying the trip met his expectations. Arnett and his family have heard recent speculation that Cal is out of the race for his services, but they are adamant that is not the case.
"Dee said his visit to Cal was better than USC and they are a major player," Arnett's brother, Ralph, said. "He is deciding between five schools: Tennessee, Michigan State, Cal, USC and the surprise school people will know Saturday or Sunday."
Arnett announced last week that a third school was likely to receive an official visit and that school was not one of his other named finalists. He said the unnamed school, "will be a big surprise to everybody… it will catch a lot of people's attention."
Arnett ended his season almost two weeks ago with 42 receptions for 782 yards and eight touchdowns. He also returned three kickoffs for touchdowns and ran in three more scores. His next chance to see action will be at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January.
