Five schools lead for Langford

Stud defensive lineman Kendall Langford is interested in five schools, but is still looking for offers. Who's in the mix?
The 6-foot-6, 230-pound end from Petersburg, Virginia runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds and has excellent potential as a pass rusher.

"Virginia Tech, Marshall, Clemson, East Carolina and Northwestern are my favorites," said Langford. "Those five are about even and they're the only schools I'm looking at really hard right now."
Langford said that Virginia Tech was his leader, and the Tech camp was the only trip he took for football over the summer. However, he's not counting out anyone.
"Those five schools just have good football programs," he said. "They've all been successful in recent years and they all go to bowl games. Their academic programs are good too. I don't have any offers, but I think I'll get some before too long.
"The biggest things I'll be looking for will be a top-notch coaching staff, a good team and a quality academic environment. I'll make my decision sometime after the season if I've received offers."
Langford recorded 95 tackles and 12 sacks as he earned all-district honors as a junior.
