Vladimir Emilien is four-star prospect from Lauderhill (Fla.) Plantation High School. For some time now this super safety from South Florida has been favoring Ohio State. That's still the case as Emilien tries to sort things out through the next few busy weeks.
"Ohio State is the team to beat and my favorite," Emilien said. "Many teams have made a good impression though, like Stanford, Notre Dame and Wisconsin. I am hearing Notre Dame could offer soon.
"I am also going on a college tour from July 16th through July 20th. I am going to visits five schools in five days with my mentor. I am going to see Florida, Auburn, Clemson, South Carolina, and Tennessee. They have all offered but Florida. I may try and go to the Friday Night Lights camp and maybe I will get an offer when I go.
"I just have to make sure and I really want to make sure my life takes the right direction. Everyone has aspirations for NFL and so do I. I have to look strongly at academics if I don't make it to the NFL. I need to make sure my life is in order."
Emilien has already visited Ohio State, Miami and FSU. Despite 35 or so scholarship offers and everyone taking their shot with Emilien the Buckeyes are still the one sitting at the top.
"I am weighing my options for a lot of teams. Many think I am going to Ohio state but at the same time I am going to pick a school where my heart is.
