Five schools have offers out to Gunn
Junior to Watch: Brandon Gunn
School: Omaha (Neb.) Central

Position: Running Back
Size and Speed: Gunn is 5-foot-11 and 190-pounds. He has been timed at 4.50 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Gunn rushed for 980 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground during his junior season.
Honors: Gunn’s performance during the 2002 season earned him honorable mention All-Metro honors at running back.
Favorite Schools: Several schools have been in contact with Gunn to date via mail, including Nebraska, Iowa, Iowa State, Stanford, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State and Michigan.
Skinny: “Things are picking up some,” Gunn said. “Iowa State had offered earlier on. But recently four others have come in with offers.”
Gunn now claims offers from Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas State.
“With those four most recent offers, I’m now at five total. I like them all right now. I don’t want to rule anything out. And I don’t want to elminate anybody at this point.”
Gunn is planning on attending the Nike camp in Ann Arbor, Mich. this next weekend. He will also be camping at the Nebraska summer camp, but doesn’t have any others on the calendar for the upcoming months.
“I want to take a good look at the schools that are recruiting me before I make a decision. I want to look at the situation I would be stepping into at running back and see how it will play out.”
