Pontiac (Mich.) Avondale wide receiver Adrian Cannon is one of the top receivers in the state of Michigan. So it's not surprising Cannon has a number of scholarship offers on the table.
"I have offers from Illinois, Iowa State, Kentucky, Buffalo, and Toledo," Cannon said.
"Right now it's wide open. It's early. I'm keeping my options open.
"I'm going to look at the offense a school runs. The players they have returning. The coaches. The location. I want to go where my mom can see my play a couple times a year."
Asked who has called this month, Cannon said, "Illinois. And coach Mason from Wisconsin called."
Cannon said other schools showing interest include Michigan, Michigan State, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, and Western Michigan.
The 6-foot-2 and 190 pounder caught 33 passes for 620 yards during his junior season. Cannon averaged 18.8 yards per catch and scored nine times.
