Five offers for Challingsworth

Wide receiver Zach Challingsworth of McDonald (Pa.) South Fayette has quietly been picking up offers over the last month. While he is obviously excited about his recent streak of recruiting success, now he is hoping for even more.
"I have five offers now from Temple, Toledo, Kent State, Akron and Buffalo," said Challingsworth. "Toledo was my first offer and that was about three weeks to a month ago. And since then I just got more. The last one was Temple on Thursday I believe. It feels awesome. It's really exciting."

Aside from these five schools, a few others may be close to adding to his total.
"Pitt seems close, and Virginia and Maryland are probably the most likely too," said Challingsworth, who is 6-foot-2 and 180-pounds.
The Western Pennsylvania receiver attended one recent junior day, and has a series of additional visits scheduled.
"I went to Ohio State's junior day a couple of weeks ago, I'm going to West Virginia on the 11th and I'm going to go to spring practices at Virginia, Pitt and Maryland," said Challingsworth. "I may possibly visit Boston College too."
Challingsworth gave his thoughts on his recent visit to Ohio State.
"It was nice," he said. "The campus is great, the coaches are top of the line and they have great academics as well. And not to forget that they win football games there too."
Aside from all of these college visits, Challingsworth will also compete at the VTO Sports/Rivals.com Elite 100 Camp in Pittsburgh on April 15th.
