Five in it until the end with Thomas

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - This summer, Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby inside linebacker Kadeem Thomas was able to see a few schools, mostly on trips where he was joined by his teammates.
"I visited Georgia Tech, South Alabama, and a few other team camps," Thomas said.

Thomas says his focus during the summer months wasn't on recruiting.
"For the most part I was focused in the weight room and getting ready for our season," Thomas said. "I want to win a state championship and felt I needed to focus on that."
With that in mind, the 6-foot, 230-pound linebacker says he hasn't been able to make any adjustments to his list of offers and interested schools.
"I haven't narrowed things down yet," Thomas said. "Every time I get close to doing it, it gets tougher and tougher."
While he hasn't narrowed it down, Thomas was able to quickly give five schools that he expects to be in it until the end.
"Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Tennessee, Louisville, and Kentucky are some schools I am really interested in," Thomas said. "They have all offered me."
Out of those five schools, the three-star linebacker claims no favorites. He intends to use all five of his official visits in hopes of finding the right college.
"I am looking for a place where I can get a great education," Thomas said. "I am also looking at the tradition that they have there. I am also looking at their fanbase. I also want to find a safe town to spend my time in."
Thomas said a decision is unlikely to come during his senior season. He said he plans to wait until after the playoffs have concluded to take a majority of his visits and then decide.
As a junior, Thomas had 127 tackles, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and an interception.
